Offering advanced driver assistance technology, effortless connectivity features and sporty styling, the 2024 Nissan Altima is on sale now with a starting Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $25,730.
The Nissan Altima was restyled for the 2023 model year with an updated expression of Nissan’s V-motion grille, newly standard LED headlights, new aluminum-alloy wheel designs, revised instrument panel finishings and two new exterior paint colors.
Altima’s impressive complement of available technology includes a 12.3-inch HD color touchscreen that features wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Nissan Door to Door Navigation system, a wireless phone charging pad and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
For 2024, available NissanConnect Services now includes a three-year trial (up from a six-month trial previously). The telematics feature works with the MyNISSAN smartphone app and includes remote door lock/unlock, remote engine start/stop, vehicle health report, emergency calling and Nissan Skill for Amazon Alexa.
Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard on every Altima. The suite of technologies includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist and Rear Automatic Braking. Altima also offers ProPILOT Assist, helping ease stop-and-go highway driving easier by combining steering assistance with Intelligent Cruise Control, which can control acceleration and braking.
Altima offers buyers a choice of two engines. The standard 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine impresses with fuel economy ratings of up 27 mpg city, 39 mpg highway and 32 mpg combined for the front-wheel-drive S and SV grades, and 27 mpg city, 37 mpg highway and 31 mpg combined for front-wheel-drive SR and SL models.
Also available is the world’s first Variable Compression Turbo (VC-Turbo) engine, rated for 248 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque (when using 93 octane fuel) and delivering even more responsive performance.
