Tech Tues | Ultimax Belts Overview and Install
All Ultimax belts have a date code that show when they were manufactured, and they have a shelf life of around seven years when stored properly. Ideally, belts should be stored in cool, dry places.
To find out the age of an Ultimax belt, find the 4 digit number on the belt. The first 2 numbers indicate the week the belt was produced and the last 2 numbers identify the year. For example, 2716 means the belt was manufactured during the 27th week of 2016.
