Honda had its new Talon sport Side x Side on display in its booth at the world’s premier automotive specialty products trade event, SEMA.
The Talon joined Honda’s other vehicles, including some custom bikes, adventure bikes, a 1972 Honda N600 (with its rear wheels driven by the engine from a Honda VFR motorcycle!), and, of course, Honda’s automotive products.
Honda’s SEMA exhibit will celebrate the company’s 60th anniversary in the U.S., its longstanding commitment to the enthusiast community, and the accessorization opportunities of Honda’s lineup today.
The Talon at the show was not the stock one, though, it was the Proctor Racing Talon 1000R.
Proctor Racing is the company behind Honda’s Ridgeline Baja team, and they prepared a Talon 1000R Side x Side with special performance updates including Sparco seats, KMC Grenade bead-lock wheels, a custom MPI steering wheel and more.
Proctor Racing will field a pair of Talon 1000R Side x Sides during the 2020 off-road racing season.
Here’s a video with highlights from the 2018 SCORE Baja 1000, with Indycar superstar Alexander Rossi and Jeff Proctor’s team navigating the Honda Ridgeline Baja across the punishing dunes of the Baja 1000.
