Can-Am 2020 Off-Road Racing Contingency Program

The contingency program, which includes numerous off-road racing series, can provide monetary payouts for eligible racers who compete with approved Can-Am off-road vehicles, including but not limited to the, Maverick X3, the industry’s most powerful factory turbocharged side-by-side vehicle.

Fourteen U.S. national and regional racing series make up the 2020 ATV and SSV contingency schedule. Can-Am has more than a dozen series including side-by-side vehicles and can potentially award both professional and amateur drivers with contingency dollars for podium finishes. Five of those national SSV events will award eligible Can-Am racers who finish first in their class at each round with a top prize of $5,000. These include the Best In The Desert (BITD), SCORE International desert series, UTV World Championships, Mint 400 and the ULTRA4 King of the Hammers (KOH) events. A podium finish in any of these desert racing series breaks down as $5,000 (first), $2,000 (second) and $1,000 (third). All events have various levels of contingency money reserved per race. However, event must also meet the minimum requirement of 10 class riders in any event to have the potential to earn the contingency dollars (see details).

ABOUT Can-Am BRP®

In the late 1990s, Can-Am designers and engineers were the first to equip ATVs with the TTI rear suspension, and, in 2002, they were also the first to offer a manufacturer-approved ATV for two people. In combining maximum power, handling, and traction, Can-Am ATVs are the choice of enthusiasts and professionals – who drive them right to the podium. With Can-Am ATVs, side-by-side vehicles, and roadsters, BRP is carrying on a long tradition of conquests. More than 30 years ago, the world discovered the Can-Am brand through revolutionary motocross bikes. BRP has since withdrawn from that market, but the Can-Am legend and winning spirit live on – with passion and exhilaration.
