Featuring grommet holes that provide secure mounting points, Design Engineering Inc’s universal heat pads can be hand-formed to fit just about any shape, bend or curve. Available in two sizes, they block heat and protect components better than factory shields.
“It’s easy to increase driver and passenger comfort with DEI’s Stainless Steel Heat Shield Pads,” says Mike Buca of DEI. “Easy to install with stainless straps or other types of fasteners, the pads help prevent burns and block uncomfortable heat.”
Offering up to a 2,000°F direct-temperature rating, the extremely lightweight pads are made from high-grade, double-sided stainless steel and high-temp insulation. Welded seam edges seal the insulation between the stainless steel sheets, adding strength and durability.
Flexible enough to shape around pipes, the shields are offered in 4×8-inch (#10257) and 12×12-inch (#10258) pad sizes to provide protection in any application, from automotive to industrial uses and heavy duty vehicles to UTV’s.
