The 2024 Dodge Hornet R/T performance hybrid — the first-ever electrified performance vehicle from Dodge — opens a “gateway” for enthusiasts to enter the Dodge Brotherhood of Muscle. The Dodge Hornet R/T delivers the most powerful utility vehicle in the segment with 288 horsepower and 383 lb.-ft. of torque, offering 32 miles of all-electric range via a 15.5-kWh lithium-ion battery, as well as 77 MPGe and 360 miles of total range.
The Dodge Hornet GT is the industry’s fastest and most powerful gas-powered compact utility vehicle. Fueled by the Hurricane4 engine, a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four cylinder, the GT boasts the segment’s most powerful gas engine at 268 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque.
The “Head of Hive” 2024 Dodge Hornet R/T carries extra sting with a class-exclusive, on-demand PowerShot feature that supplies a burst of 30 horsepower, reaching 0 to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds, while the Dodge Hornet GT reaches 0 to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds in Sport Mode.
With additional best-in-class and class-exclusive dynamic driving features such as Koni shocks, Brembo four-piston brake calipers, dynamic torque vectoring and more, as well as standard all-wheel drive for both the R/T and GT, the 2024 Dodge Hornet is designed for performance lovers seeking a CUV that drives like a Dodge, looks like a Dodge and sounds like a Dodge.

Dodge was founded in 1900 by brothers Horace and John Dodge, and was initially known as the Dodge Brothers Company. They started off by selling, but they soon became a major supplier of axles, engines, and transmissions to the automobile industry. By the end of 1914, John and Horace geared up for a major production of Dodge cars in 1915, introducing a two-passenger roadster with rear luggage compartment, and a first closed car-a center-door sedan. When America needed automobiles for World War I, they turned to Dodge. Dodge cars and trucks were used extensively by the American forces during World War I. Today, Dodge is one of the most popular automobile manufacturers worldwide.
